my neck, my back.


Despite my motivation, I didn’t make it to the gym. Halfway through the day, my neck and back started throbbing and then I felt a migraine start to creep on. In lieu of a workout, I booked it home post work and took a steamy steamy shower and then ate some soup. I’m feeling a little better, which is a good thing because I have to make it out on the town tonight – friends are in town visiting.

When I was little and didn’t feel well, my mom always used to make me Chickarina, so I picked some up on my walk home.

mmmm, sodium.

Now, I’m not the biggest meat eater (and especially am not into chicken), so I find it funny that when I crave comfort, I crave chicken. In a can. All in all, a day full of healthy eats – a little sodium/chicken isn’t going to kill me every once in a while.

I’m going to gussy up and head off to my friend’s for a soiree, even though I’m not feeling so hot. Even if I don’t feel well, I need to go out on the weekends in order to blow off some steam. Anyone else go out no matter what?
